STEP 2: CHOOSE THE RIGHT TIP

Using the correct tip makes soldering safer and easier!
The soldering irons that we are using have removable tips.

If you are working with tiny parts and small wires, use a Pointed (Conical) Tip.
Pointed Tips are sharp and narrow.

If you are working with bigger wires or you are new to soldering this year, use a Flat (Chisel) Tip.
Flat Tips have a flat edge and are easier to control the heat..
